VIP Tiers

VIP tiers let you reward your most loyal customers with escalating benefits. As customers accumulate lifetime points, they automatically move up through membership levels you define. Every tier is fully customizable — you choose the names, thresholds, and perks.

How Tiers Work

You create tiers inside each points program. Each tier has a name you choose, a lifetime-point threshold, and optional perks like a point multiplier. When a customer's lifetime points reach the threshold for the next tier, they are upgraded automatically. Their wallet pass updates in real time to reflect the new status.

There are no predefined tier names or limits. You can create as many tiers as you need and name them anything that fits your brand — Silver & Gold, Bronze & Diamond, Regular & VIP, or something entirely your own.

Creating Tiers

Tiers are configured inside each points program. Navigate to your program settings and open the VIP Tiers section.

1

Add a tier

Give your tier a name and set the lifetime points required to reach it. For example, you might create a tier called "Gold" that requires 500 lifetime points.
2

Set a point multiplier (optional)

You can give higher tiers a point multiplier so members earn points faster. For example, a 1.5x multiplier means every purchase earns 50% more points.
3

Add more tiers

Repeat to add as many tiers as you like. Each tier needs a higher point threshold than the one before it.

Tier Progression

Tier upgrades are based on tier points, not current balance. This means redeeming points for rewards does not reduce a customer's tier standing. Once a customer reaches a tier, they keep that status even after claiming rewards.

Tier downgrades

By default, tiers only go up. If you want tiers to reset annually (for example, requiring customers to re-qualify each year), you can enable the tier reset option in your program settings.
