Scanner App

The Loyalty scanner app is a companion mobile app for your staff. It turns any phone or tablet into a point-of-sale scanner that can read customer loyalty cards and award or redeem points instantly.

The scanner app is available for both iOS and Android. Scan the QR code below with your phone to download it from your app store.

How Scanning Works

Your staff use the scanner app at the register whenever a customer makes a purchase. The process takes just a few seconds.

Customer presents their card

The customer opens their loyalty pass in Apple Wallet or Google Wallet and shows the QR code on screen.

Staff scans the QR code

Your staff member opens the scanner app and points the camera at the customer's QR code. The app reads it instantly.

Points are awarded

The staff member enters the purchase amount and taps confirm. Points are calculated automatically based on your program's rules and added to the customer's balance.

Customer is notified

The customer's wallet pass updates in real time to show their new points balance. If they've earned a reward, it shows up immediately.

Redeeming Rewards

When a customer has enough points for a reward, the scanner app shows a redeem option after scanning. The staff member confirms the redemption, and the points are deducted from the customer's balance.

Offline support

The scanner app requires an internet connection to process transactions. Make sure your store has reliable Wi-Fi or cellular coverage at the register.

Setup

After downloading the app, your staff sign in with the account you created for them in Team Management. They'll automatically see the loyalty programs for your business and can start scanning right away.
