A points program is the core of your loyalty setup. It defines the digital card your customers add to their Apple Wallet or Google Wallet, how they earn points, and what rewards they can redeem.
Below is an interactive preview of what a loyalty card looks like on both platforms. Click the card to flip between front and back, and use the toggles to switch between Apple and Google layouts.
When creating a points program you control every visual aspect of the pass that appears in your customers' wallets.
Colors
Set the background, text, and label colors. The preview updates in real time so you can see exactly how it will look.
Images
Upload a logo, hero/strip image, and Google icon. Each platform has slightly different image requirements.
Point Rules
Define how many points customers earn per dollar spent and set the reward threshold — for example, 200 points for a free drink.
Rewards
Specify the reward customers receive when they hit the threshold. This shows up on the front of the card as 'Next Reward'.
The back of the card can contain additional sections like terms and conditions, how the program works, and store locations. You can add as many sections as you like from the Pass Details editor, each with a title and body text.
Apple Wallet and Google Wallet display passes slightly differently. Apple uses a strip image across the middle of the card, while Google uses a hero image at the bottom and a circular icon in the header. Loyalty handles both layouts from a single program — you upload the images once and the platform formats them for each wallet automatically.
Image tips
For best results, use a strip image at 1125 x 432 pixels for Apple and a hero image at 1032 x 336 pixels for Google. The Google icon should be a square image, ideally 256 x 256 pixels.
Milestones let you define specific rewards that customers unlock as they accumulate points. Instead of a single reward threshold, you can create multiple milestones at different point levels — giving customers a clear progression path and multiple incentives to keep earning.
Milestones are configured inside your points program. Each milestone has two fields: a reward name and the number of points required to reach it.

The first milestone in your list appears on the front of the wallet card as the next reward the customer is working toward. All milestones are also visible on printed flyers created with the Print Designer, giving customers a full view of available rewards when they sign up.
Milestone tips
Start with two or three milestones at achievable point levels. A quick early reward (like a free drink at 100 points) encourages new customers to stay engaged, while higher-value milestones keep long-term members motivated.
